Bomb Pop Crochet Sunglass Case Tutorial

Materials:
G 3.75mm crochet hook
Red Heart super Saver Solid in Cherry Red
Red Heart super Saver Solid in White
Red Heart super Saver Solid in Turqua
Red Heart super Saver Solid in Buff
Yarn needle
Embroidery floss in red
Embroidery needle
Scissors
Ball Clasp Coin Purse Frame with holes (I got mine from Joanns)

Popsicle Stick:
Crochet with Buff (Tan) Yarn
Ch 8 sc in second ch from hook
Rows 1-8 sc across
Fasten off and weave in ends

Bomb Pop:
Start with the Blue Yarn
Slip st leaving a 5 in tail Ch 26 and join to starter ch so that
   you are crocheting in a circle
Row 1-5 Ch 2 (counts as one DC) DC around and join to start of row
Fasten off and weave in end leaving tail from beginning

Attach White Yarn anywhere in row 5 of blue
Repeat Rows 1-5
Fasten off and weave in ends

Attach Red Yarn anywhere in last row of white
Repeat DC around for 3 Rows
Ch 2 and DC in next 12 st Ch 2 and turn
DC in next 12 st Ch 2 and turn
DC in next 12 st Ch 1 and turn
SC in next 12 st
Fasten off and weave in ends

Now attach red to otherside of Row 3 of red and repeat
Ch 2 and DC in next 12 st Ch 2 and turn
DC in next 12 st Ch 2 and turn
DC in next 12 st Ch 1 and turn
SC in next 12 st
Fasten off and weave in ends

So that after row 3 of red It splits into two panels on either side of project.

Using red embroidery floss attach Ball Clasp to the split panels of red

Place Popsicle Stick in center of opening in the blue using the tail that was
left begin sewing the end shut and securing popsicle stick. Fasten off and weave in ends.

You can also change the pattern up a little and give it a flap over button closure, or a
zipper if you like. Play around with it!
